Privacy policy

Mint Theme Sections is a Shopify app made by Mint Labs ("we", "us"). It adds ready-made sections (testimonials, logo wall, before/after slider, video hero, comparison table, countdown, FAQ and more) to a store's theme as theme app blocks. This policy explains what the app handles, why, and when it's deleted.
The short version
- The app does not collect, receive or store any information about the store's customers or visitors.
- The sections are rendered by the store's theme from the settings the merchant enters in the theme editor. The storefront makes no requests to our servers, sets no cookies and uses no tracking or browser storage. The call-to-action section's buttons are plain links: the app collects no email addresses or other shopper input.
- We keep only the merchant's style choice and plan, and we never sell or share them, use them for advertising or AI training, or combine them across stores.

The theme's templates are read live from Shopify when the merchant opens the app and are not stored. The content of the sections (text, pictures, links) lives in the merchant's theme, edited in Shopify's theme editor; the app never receives it. The plan and style are also saved in the merchant's own store as an app setting (an app-data metafield), where the sections read them; Shopify removes it when the app is uninstalled.
Customer privacy requests
- Access and erasure requests (Shopify's
customers/data_requestandcustomers/redact): the app holds no customer data, so there is nothing to return or delete. We acknowledge the requests. - Store deletion (
shop/redact, sent 48 hours after a merchant uninstalls): we permanently delete everything we hold for the store. If that request never arrives, we delete it all 30 days after uninstall anyway.
Where data is processed and how it's protected
The app runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database) and connects to Shopify's APIs. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is limited to Mint Labs staff who need it to run the service. We use no other sub-processors, analytics or trackers. See our security policy.
Your rights
Merchants can remove any section in the theme editor at any time, and uninstalling deletes everything as described above. Email us with any request and we respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify merchants in the app.
